What is a sludge separator?
A sludge separator – also called a strainer – is like a filter that ensures that the medium reaches the required degree of purity. Installing a sludge separator is also an easy way to avoid damage and slow the wear of more valuable equipment in the line. Various sludge separator are available with several different mesh sizes.

Steel strainers from ARI-Armaturen are suitable for steam and condensate systems. For process systems, strainers can be selected from our acid-resistant models. Additionally, our range includes large basket strainers for high flow rates.
Cryogenic strainers are available from DN 10 to DN 200 and can withstand pressures up to 50 bar in operating temperatures ranging from -196°C to +120°C. Strainers are made of stainless steel and bronze.
